❷ Evacuate to the safe evacuation site!
安全な場所へ「避難」しましょう！

Make sure that the place you evacuate has an easy access to water, food, toilets and information for assistance.
避難するところが水や食料、トイレ、支援の情報などが入手しやすい場所かどうかも確認しておきましょう。

  Sheltering in your own home
  自宅避難
  This means staying in your home while living as an evacuee.
  Those who live on high floors in robust buildings such as condominiums may want to consider taking shelter in their homes.
  People who live near rivers, on low-lying land, near slopes, or other vulnerable places will not be able to take shelter in their homes.
  自宅にいながら避難生活をすることです。
  マンションなどの頑丈な建物で、高い階に住んでいる人は自宅避難を考えてみるとよいでしょう。
  川の近くや低い土地、斜面など危険な場所があるところに住んでいる人は自宅避難をしません。

  Temporary stay in a car
  車中泊
  A car may serve as a temporary shelter where you also can stay overnight.
  Choose a high and open place. Not moving for a long time may make you sick. Thus, move your body from time to time an open the windows of your car to allow in fresh air.
  Do not stay in the car in dangerous places such as places where flooding is likely, next to mountain slopes, or near collapsed buildings.
  一時的に車の中で過ごす避難のことです。
  高くて広い場所を選びましょう。長い時間動かないと病気になることがあります。ときどき体を動かしましょう。車の窓を開けて新しい空気を入れましょう。
  浸水がありそうな場所、山の斜面、倒壊した建物の近くなど危ない場所では車中泊をしません。

  If you have dependable relatives or friends living in a safe place, you should ask them to give you shelter at their place.
  安全な場所に頼れる親せきや友人が住んでいたら、避難させてもらいましょう。

  Evacuation centers
  避難所
  If you feel uneasy, move to a shelter immediately. Research in advance where evacuation centers are located.
  不安があれば、すぐに避難所に移動しましょう。避難所がどこにあるか調べておきましょう。

❸ Make sure to bring everything you need when you evacuate!
避難するときの持ち出し品を確認しましょう！

Make sure to pack everything in a bag so you can take it with you at a moment’s notice.
すぐに持ち出せるようバッグにまとめておきましょう。
